Complete the shared official card
Every ranked predictor receives the same underlying official pairs. NBA and MLB cards contain 45 duels. NFL and NHL cards contain 48. Your personal order and left/right orientation can be different without changing the card.
Follow the outcome
- The team advancing furthest in the postseason wins.
- If both teams finish at the same postseason stage, the better regular-season result wins.
- If both results are exactly tied, the duel is a push.
Pushes, pending duels, void duels, and extra duels are excluded from the denominator. Ratings range from −1.000 to +1.000. Higher is better, and equal ratings share a rank.
Keep going with extra duels
Your shared official card determines your Duel Rating. Extra duels refine your season order and the community consensus. They never change the predictor leaderboard and never repeat for you.
Lock at the first event
Official and extra picks lock at the exact first regular-season kickoff, tipoff, puck drop, or first pitch. There is no late entry. Saved picks remain available for read-only review while ratings update as outcomes resolve.
